Last Breakfast at Copa and off we went

Leaving Rio!


We woke up early as usual and went to the beach for a morning walk and a swim.

I still have hot legs and staying much in the sun was not a thing.


We went back to the hotel, showered and started sorting for the packing.

Then went to one of the beach kiosks (Du Mare) for a great breakfast for 2 for 90 Reais.
It was amazing and a steal:

Scrambled eggs, omelette, a huge Croque Monsieur, toasties, fruit salad, yoghurt, cakes and granola.

I was defeated!
It is definitely an alternative option to the hotel.
Just the coffee is not on tap!



Then we finished packing and had another walk to get an ice cream.


We decided to skip another swim and showered only before getting ready to leave.



I stayed away from my jeans as my hot legs could not cope.
I was travelling in my summer overall.



We left for the airport at 5 to be there just after 6 pm.


Had a bit of hassle with the hand luggage as the guy was weighing it!
He let us go after repacking some weight from my case in Neils case.



We changed it all back again when we were out of sight.



We hit the lounge had some nice food and a caipirinha before boarding a very full flight!



I fell asleep short after take off - did not even make it until food.
And I resurfaced less than 2 hours before landing.


Neil was similar.
