Nativity Play…

For the first time I was not able to post on the day…because we had a prolonged electricity outage at our son’s house where we were staying! The signal for mobiles not good enough to upload a photo. Luckily they had some candles and torches plus were able to cook an evening meal, not the one planned, using gas. The electricity was out for over 6 hours until 12.40.
A long time since we have been in this situation so it makes you sympathetic to those who have had problems re floods or high winds etc recently.

We had gone to our grandsons school to see their Nativity Play “Its a baby” which was excellent as it was only reception plus years 1 and 2 and they remembered all the words of the play and some lovely lovely songs. He was an angel!

Earlier in the day we went to the gallery in Didcot to see a textiles exhibition. A friend goes to regular classes and this was the final exhibition for the group. See extra which is her work. It depicts the erosion and falling of cliffs into the sea on the Norfolk coast. All the work had information about the stimulus for the work and such a variety of styles and complexity.
