Sunset glow
I've been feeling very unwell, which is why I missed blipping for the last two days. I really enjoyed getting together with Gena and Terri on Monday, catching up with what's been going on in our lives. The town where they live is real Trump country and since the election people driving around in trucks with guns has become rather commonplace. As a gay married couple, they feel particularly vulnerable there and have started considering a move south to the Seattle area, where we are Blue and tolerant. But there's a vast difference in the cost of living, which would make a move difficult.
Today I had my first appointment with the vascular surgeon at Northwest Hospital whom I will be seeing instead of the one in Edmonds. I was glad to learn that they saw no reason for routine visits, but rather will be available if there are any concerns about my fistula at the clinic. Fewer doctor visits sounds good to me.
Sylvie is still hanging out in the living room with me - I'm so pleased. Here is Mount Rainier again.
