Check Up

Husband J had his bi-monthly check up at the ENT department today, they phoned to bring the appointment forward from 4.15pm to 2pm which suited us better because it’s difficult to get out of the hospital car parks if it’s a late afternoon appointment.
We had a coffee & cake in the Waitrose cafe then a quick look for a Christmas present in the drinks section, we found a nice whiskey on offer for friend J.
Quiet evening in front of the TV, we watched the semifinal of Portrait Artist of the Year, as usual they chose an off the wall contestant but also chose our favourite so hopefully she will go forward to win.
