Cutting and Sticking

Aqua Aerobics today. It was a different instructor and she worked us hard but I enjoyed every minute!
Today’s art is painting and cutting out. A tutorial on Pinterest - there’s more to it than that! 
I cut the pages out of a book that was falling to bits. I remember the book from my childhood. ‘The House with the Twisting Passage’. 
I went to the lovely bookshop in Settle to find a book for Frank for Christmas. I couldn’t find anything but then a friend came into the shop and she knows the owner. She asked what I was looking for and when I told her what kind of book he likes they both looked at each other and said ‘I know - that one we read at book club!’ 
Job done!  The book was ordered and another one too which the shop owner had read. She message me when they arrive. 
Then home to have a rest then some creativeness.
I ended up booking both the Lino Print and the Watercolour course!
Can’t wait! I’ve never been formally taught any art except at school and a half day course last year.
Tonight we watched a wonderful documentary called ‘Inseparable Sisters’  about conjoined twin girls. Their Dad was such a lovely caring man who devotes his life to bringing them up and just loving them. It was on iPlayer.
