Dolly's Day

Pepsi electric blue

Another disturbed night and a late start to the day.  It was dark by the time I walked down to the village.  Dry and calm when I walked down but windy and rainy when I walked home.

Food shopping in Herons and Tesco and 3 parcels collected at Tesco.

Got my blip shot in Herons.   The Wide Wednesday theme is blue so I was looking out for blue things while I was out and decided to blip these bottles in Herons.  They are Pepsi Electric Blue.  Its a limited edition and the taste is supposed to be zesty citrus and raspberry.  Ive tried them and they are OK and quite refreshing but they don't have a very distinctive taste- I couldn't taste citrus or raspberry. I didn't buy any bottles today.  Thanks to steveng for hosting the challenge.

After sorting out my parcels - together with the two which had been delivered to my garage while I was out  - I cooked my meal.  By the time I settled down to eat it was nearly 7.30pm.  Time to listen to the footie on the radio,

Newcastle had a home game against Liverpool.  I decided last week I wouldn't go.  Don't like evening games.  Usually at this time of year its freezing cold/ rainy and then I have to wait around for a bus home afterwards.  Neil didn't want my ticket as he already had one - sitting in the Gallowgate stand next to a friend.... so I sold my ticket back to the Club.  It was snapped up immediately.

So I listened on the radio.  It was a great match.  Lots of action with goals and goal chances from both sides.  Newcastle scored first -- Liverpool equalised.  Newcastle got a second goal... Liverpool equalised.  Then Liverpool got their 3rd goal and Newcastle were behind for the first time.  Then on 90th minute my favourite player Fabian Schar scored the Newcastle equaliser to make the final score 3 - 3.  Neither side deserved to lose so this was a fair result..  I bet Neil enjoyed being there.  ( I sort of wished I had been there too.)
