Hug on a Tray
Needed to go into Otley to get a new battery fitted in the key fob for my car.
Job done so Elaine and l went to the Christmas Tree Festival, held in Otley Church.
Such a lovely event and a good way to support local charities. I had some £1 coins in my purse for one so could contribute into the collecting buckets under individual trees of my choice.
My blip is for Hug on a Tray, a charity that Mr P and myself came across on hospital visits.
They are based in Otley and offer a lot of practical and emotional support for patients suffering from a blood cancer.
We then went to Ilkley Cinema to see a live screening of the musical Girl from the North Country, which featured songs by Bob Dylan, very emotional.
After that we had booked in to Ilkley Taps for a bottle of red and some small plates by Stuzzi ( a favourite venue of ours in Harrogate) who are now doing the catering here. A very enjoyable day.
