Mind the gap …

Turn 180 degrees and you have a view of a World Heritage City skyline : Edinburgh Castle indomitable and basking in its city’s 900th Anniversary glory this year. How the once world famous boulevard of Princes Street has fallen from grace to boarded up businesses is really sad to see. On a much more positive note our direct train home was on time and we enjoyed the unfolding Anglo Scottish panorama from our railway carriage!
