It's like Blackpool

I did a major update on my pc today (the latest flavour of Win 11) and when it rebooted the keyboard lights came on - I'd forgotten that it had them.  I went for a furtle in the settings and now they stay on all the time, it adds to the gaiety of the nation. 

In other news, I tracked down the reason that the boiler is losing pressure - the radiator in the storeroom (it's a tiny spare bedroom with lots of my stuff and stuff I'm looking after for other members of the family) is leaking, lots. I hadn't spotted it because there was stuff in front of it, I've got some bowls under it to try to catch the drips. I rang my landlady and there will be a plumber here in the morning to take a look. So that's exciting isn't it!
