a fallen flower

Probably the last one of the year from the non-Christmas cactus. 
    I was sharing something by Prince with a friend and it's turned into a kind of Prince day. In 1993 I tape recorded most of an impromptu session he did live on Radio One. So naturally I went searching for the tape. It wasn't where I expected it to be, so I started searching other tape boxes. Thinking I must have lost it, I was relieved when it appeared in the last box of all. Of course I've played it now and feel as astounded as I ever did. It's just mind-boggling music. Maybe I should keep it in my precious objects drawer?
