The Wairau River

Just down the road from our place is the braided Wairau River. Its a beautiful place, blue water, clean, clear, lovely boulders and stones, and has a lovely stop-bank to walk along.

The Mistress took me on a short walk down the stop-bank to get beautiful photos seeing it was such beautiful day. Shes says these are the colours of Marlborough in Winter. Cold frosty starts, but lovely mild days with wonderfully blue skies.
