Charity knitting
There are still more garments to stitch up but I ran out of steam today. I would much rather knit!
Regular viewers will see that the little Christmas hat now has a pom pom to adorn it. (Too much work and too much wool for the others.)
I need to post them tomorrow or Thursday so the Christmas ones can be sold at a Christmas fayre.
Karyn had a cold and could not come to clean. Of course, I had tidied the house ready........ Hope she is well again soon.
I went to the hospital for lunchtime. Margret had sandwiches so she was managing well. She was on very good form today, even though Mark had left to drive home.
I took the wet washing and headed off for the Community Centre for one of the return packages (of clothes that did not suit her). Then a very quick dash into Tesco for a birthday card she requested. Then to the post van in the village. There was one person inside and the queue built up as I waited 15 minutes to send off two more returns.
The choir had just started as I burst into the village hall! We had a good rehearsal and I was pleased to see some new sopranos. Great stuff.
Home for an evening zoom photography session. I stitched while this was on.
I phoned Margret at teatime to hear she had had three visitors this afternoon and one had been there for longer than 15 minutes. She was not inclined to let him go and I had to insist. Oh dear!
And so to bed!
