Round in circles

I slept well at LM's last night and enjoyed chatting over a leisurely breakfast. I wasn't the only visitor as the dishwasher fairy had obviously been as there was no trace of last night's feast by the time I appeared.

We then headed out to the Hunterian Gallery, which I had never visited before. It was really interesting - a different approach to hanging as some pictures were hung by theme rather than period/style which made me think (and was relevant to one if the themes in There are Rivers in Sky which touched upon the idea that those who curate exhibitions also control the story that is being told).

I took this picture of LM taking a picture of me - I could pretend there was a deeper meaning attached but we were simply having fun. I continued in that vein by experimenting with different styles in my photo editor.

LM then treated my to coffee and a very indulgent raspberry brownie in  a cafe on Great Western Road, after which I thought I should walk into town rathe than taking the underground. I then spent some more time in John Lewis and surrounding shops before getting bus home.

I was greeted by heavy falling snow in Pitlochry which I was not expecting.

It's been a lovely 24 hours or so.
