Redcar Beach

After all the excitement of Usain Bolt last night, we were relieved to have a rapid journey home from the Olympic Stadium as we had an early start this morning, driving 250 miles to visit my mother.

Mum likes the sea, so after a pie and pea lunch we pottered out to Redcar where there is a fine broad beach beloved by dog walkers which is framed, these days, by wind turbines.
