July Challenge: Day 27 ....

Nuts.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that today's topic was nuts was the big bag of peanuts that I just bought for the squirrels.  

Actually, I bought the peanuts hoping for the chipmunks to surface.  But sadly I have not seen any chipmunks this year.  I really love those little guys and miss them terribly.  Even though I haven't seen any around our yard this year I put out a pile of peanuts the other day, but they sat there uneaten the whole day.  The following day I noticed a red cardinal and a blue jay come and take them.  But still no chipmunks.

So, now I have a huge bag of peanuts that the squirrels can enjoy all to themselves!  Aren't they the lucky ones!?!
