Anxiously waiting

For the annual check up at the vets. She knew where she was as soon as she got there. She was spayed here about a year ago. She was hyper, shaking, jumping into our arms and trying to get out the door.

After nipping into work for 30 min she was given the once over by dr côte who said she looked well and very muscular, if a little on the border of being podgy (had put on 10lbs in last yr). But we actually feed her compared to her previous owner - yes a little too much human food. They took blood from her jugular (which they apparently don't feel) and although shaking and quivering in my arms she didn't move as they were poking around for the vein. Also a rectal temp which anyone would hate!

Afterwards we took her for a walk around the park and I took her for a short run in the afternoon to stretch her legs. A few more of these and a little less of the human food and she should be fighting fit!
