Clever People

Felt a bit more back in the land of the living today and so headed out onto the mean streets of Kendal (after a lie-in and a catch up on Blip obvs) to do some Christmas shopping.

Before very much longer it was then down to rehearsal where we running all the way through the talky-bits to allow Herr Direktor to get an idea of the final run time. Allowing for a few clunky bits, scenes we hadn’t actually done and amendments to the script, we are looking good and at the very least, should come in way under last year’s epic!

Whilst most of the cast were at work or milling about, one of our uber-talented ones was working on a prop for a key scene by giving it a new paint job. She made it look incredibly easy (it wasn’t) and I can’t wait for the audience to see the finished product.

I was pretty tired by the time I got back, so was happy to crash out once more and watch the City/Liverpool game when my sister turned up with a grin and a gift (extra). She’s another clever thing who I am sure could make a decent living knocking these things out. 

It has already taken pride of place on the Christmas tree!
