Off down the Tyne in 20 minutes or so...

...bound for Amsterdam on the DFDS ferry from North Shields...

An overnight trip - we have a dinky little ensuite cabin with a porthole - arriving tomorrow morning after breakfast. Two nights in a hotel, then the return overnight to arrive back in the Tyne after breakfast on Saturday! 

A fun celebration for my big birthday ;)
