Petrified stump of a Giant Sequoia, estimated to be five million years old. Wonderful shapes and textures, it was difficult to choose a picture for blip today.

Went to see the Ansel Adams exhibit at the World Forestry Center this afternoon. The exhibit was small, only 30 photographs, and I would have happily looked at many, many more. Stunning and inspiring images, all of them.

Lunch at the Heathman to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. Downtown was full of wedding parties, there were also two weddings taking place at the Forestry Center. Obviously a good day to get married. ;-)
