Christmas cactus

The cactus is doing its thing - and enjoying a bit of sunshine.
We had a walk through the glen in the morning in the mildest of weather. Way too many layers on! The route we took used to be a regular well trodden path but it’s now very overgrown and rough.
We stopped to watch a jay in a tree that seemed to be injured. It squawked a bit and then flew a few meters to another tree- and was closely followed by a sparrow hawk ! It didn’t get caught but but I doubt it would last long. Nature!!
