Derelict Dining

Back to Orange today for Mr isbi's post op cataract check. He passed and I was able to hand the driving back to him for the trip home:-)

We decided to stay in Blackheath tonight and eat out. The new restaurant I wanted to try is closed Monday/Tuesday (like most others in town). So we went to the Sushi place and took our own wine glasses as last time we went there they were unable to supply any! 
We arrived at 7:40pm only to be told they closed at 8pm so we could only get takeaway. We declined so then she asked could we eat quickly but we again declined and went around the corner to the Thai. 
They warned us the kitchen closed at 8 and the restaurant at 8:30 but did agree to serve us. I must say the service was prompt!
I think the moral of this tale is if you are looking for nightlife, Blackheath on Tuesday is probably not the place.
