purple project

the brook.. oh how i missed you .. went for another helping (fix) of the brook, a lone ranger tonite as my gig buddy was on nursing detail looking after her son..so done the lazy mans gig guide to band photography tonite and remained rooted to the speakers..yup they were loud.. leaning against the speakers was akin to a full body shiatsu... yup........loud.. ..not as loud as whos who..i do wonder how the cones in the speakers dont hammer themselves to oblivion, good job they are bolted down,, think they would jig about the brook if they werent.
Now, no disrespect or offence intended , but im sure ,, well as sure i as could be that there was a man dressed as a woman there tonite.. i couldnt help but stare....check for the adams apple ..nope ,, not present...still looks very manly ....is that a wiggy ??? umm...stare some more..is was so compelling ,, she/he was dancing close to me right in front of the band.. anyway.. who am i to comment.. done the same trick myself last christmas..see december 22nd blip..
Purple project.. ....great nite out.. thoughully enjoyed it ,, put some lead in my pencil... recognised a couple of refugees from fragile.. russ on drums.. who managed to kill a snare drum.. reeeeeeespect.. have to admire any drummer that kills drums during a gig....
news thats news away from music...feel tired today ...still ...went for a bike ride out with the girls down to the railway tracks, which is always a a great place just to chill..put up our tent in the garden for the girls to play in and for having a cheaty camping nite or two with the girls, so they can have their fix of camping...
other news, alis mums 80th birthday tomorrow .. promises to be .....ravey ..bless her,,shes doing really well unlike alis dads whos brain has turned to mush.. i guess thats a dance with the devil anyone can face when age comes a calling..fair to say if get that bad then id rather be shot...and i suspect there would be a queue waiting to do the deed..whilst i bask in my overwhelming popularity ..i think i should turn in for tonite,, for tomorrow nite i be shuntaman again...
