Little Town.

Seems a strange name for a farm within the Newlands valley, but there you go.  Sitting at the base of 'the back way' to Catbells, on the left and Maiden Moor, on the right.  Scope End is 'coming in' from the right  Here you will find the 13th Century (probably) Goldscope Mine, a copper/lead mine.
It became another wet morning.  The intention was to return to Buttermere, but if I did another soaking was going to happen, so over Newlands Pass was the way forward.
