Our Christmas Tree

It is a bittersweet night for us. We have enjoyed the company of our two youngest granddaughters for the past five days. Their parents are coming home tomorrow. They have been such a delight. This evening, the youngest said, “Granny, I wish our houses were connected so we could be with you every day.” I think that is the nicest compliment I have ever received. 
My photo is of our Christmas tree that they decorated the day after Thanksgiving. They hung ALL of the decorations. (I had a step ladder for them.) They were so proud of their work and learned a lot about the history of some of the ornaments.
