My friend yesterday liked the picture of the red leaves all over the ground and suggested a different picture. I’ve done something similar in the extra. 

Zelensky is changing the goals. Ukrainians are losing hope and are increasingly ready to give up part of the country to end the war. This isn’t just land - this is also people. But of course, if Russia just re-attacks, Ukraine will be at war again and possibly at a time when no one will care. The number one priority is to prevent that, so if we would kindly offer NATO membership, Ukraine would have assurance that Russia won’t just come back as soon as they’ve made new tanks. NATO hasn’t admitted Ukraine because they are at war, and that means NATO would be at war. Russia started the war to stop Ukraine from joining NATO and the EU. It would not get us to the goal of Russia unequivocally losing, but that probably is not possible. If this were to go through we would know in a decade what that means for the world order. 


 According to some Russian news sources, Russian troops rioted November 14 about inadequate medical care. 


Japan wants to help Ukraine reconstruct. Cyberdyen is a Japanese robotics company. They won a $2.4 million contracts to deliver 46 robotic suits to Ukrainian soldiers severely injured in the war. They should be in Kyiv by March. It isn’t just an exoskeleton. It is supposed to help the body relearn how to work after its been injured neurologically. The brain sends a signal to a muscle. The suit detects the signal on the skin and helps the muscle move even if it has been weakened. This might help people walk or lift heavy objects.
