It's arrived
In fact, An Post tried to deliver it on Saturday, but having expected it on Friday, and then found that, according to the tracking info, it was in Portlaoise*, we did not expect a delivery on Saturday, and went to the Garden Centre. Apparently there are Saturday deliveries in the run up to Christmas.
If you haven't guessed what's in the box, you'll need to look at the extra. We haven't played with the contents yet - it's acclimatising to our house, and will then need tuning. Hopefully it will be more than just a rather pretty bit of furniture.
Other than opening the box, we've had quite a busy day organising our trip to Sweden later this month. We also planted the daffodils we bought on Saturday. And I did some fluting, and some sewing.
* since it originated in Dublin, Portlaoise doesn't seem a very direct route to Enniscorthy, but who ever said Post Office delivery routes were logical?
