Neoterpes trianguliferata
That's right, there's a name for this one!! Though it's just a fancy Latin one, because it's fairly obscure. I've found a stellar reference guide for moths of the west (here if you're curious) and I've actually started to identify a few of my Loo Lepidoptera. This one was fluttering about outside the building so I took it inside to photograph it in good light. More so than other moths I find, this one was butterfly-like, in both its flight and its resting position. The internet claims this species lays on currant and gooseberry leaves, and the larvae are twig-mimics. What a beauty.
