Empty Shelves

This is the local chemist shop where I usually go for a long wait. The shelves are empty because their stock was lost in last week’s floods so they are waiting for new stocks to arrive. I was waiting for J’s prescription, for some reason his prescription disappears into the ether between the surgery & the pharmacy so I tell them each time I go to collect it, they look on the computer to find it, then I wait for it to be fulfilled. I have told the surgery & they press a few buttons & say they’ve corrected it but the same thing happens every time.
I went for my annual review with the foot specialist, he is making new shoe inserts but the system has changed & they’re now made off site so I will need a second visit probably in the new year. I have one leg longer than the other after my hip replacement, I really think the surgeon should be picking up this bill, it was his error after all.
Went to Aquafit this afternoon, it was a more vigorous session today.
Re-watched the Night Manager over the last few nights, we’re looking forward to the new season now.
