JIM BEAM BOURBON
The Mono Monday theme is RAIN/GRAIN. I decided to blip this bottle of Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey. Bourbon is made from grain. At least 51% of the grains used to make bourbon must be corn. The remaining grains are rye, malted barley or wheat. Thanks to McCaviti for hosting the challenge.
This decorative bottle contains 750ml of 8 year old Beam's Choice Straight Bourbon Whiskey - distilled and bottled in Kentucky. 80% proof. It was bought when I was on holiday in Malta in around 1979. I bought 2 bottles and gave one to my brother who sampled it straight away. He said it was " strong". My bottle remains unopened. The illustration on the front of the bottle is of a red fox and was drawn by James Lockhart - an American wildlife artist.
Not much to report today. Its been a dark and rainy Monday. Fortunately it wasn't raining when I went down to the village late this afternoon. Got the bus down and collected some parcels and did food shopping. Walked home.
