Staff dinner…

A super day at NT Standen in East Grinstead today. The beautiful family home of the Beale family and another of what are becoming traditions for us. Some friends we see far too infrequently but each time we meet, we pick up just where we left off.

I liked this room. The rest of the house showed how much care and hard work would have gone into decorating each room. Here, the staff would have enjoyed a well earned time for themselves, and lots of fun and laughter if other bits in the room are to be believed.

A super day. We have other beautiful houses and castles we want to visit!
