Reigate Hill

This is the view from the top of Reigate Hill looking across The Weald and the Surrey Hills. It's close to Gatton Park landscaped gardens laid out by Capability Brown and now in the care of the National Trust. The Wray Road car park just off Junction 8 of the M25 is where we handed Kanji back to, Paula, our eldest daughter. He'd been fine with us over the weekend but was very excited to see his human "mum". I hadn't been to this location before and it looked like a great place to visit for a walk into Gatton Park with refreshments available on returning to the car park where there is a snack bar. Of course the thundering sound of traffic on the nearby M25 is an ever present soundtrack to the car park but I guess it might fade as one walks down the hill and into Gatton Park. We shall see.
