Troubled Times

You may recall I blipped the canals silt trap being emptied a few weeks ago, well the heavy rain two Saturdays ago has blocked the duct under the A1079. This is a problem as the whole system is as total loss, ie there are no holding ponds to recycle the water used to navigate each lock.
While there has been on going efforts to jet the duct out, today fish rescue has started as water levels continue to drop. Fingers crossed the situation is recoverable with no lasting damage.
