A friend messaged (a blipper actually!) asking if I was reading through Luke again this advent... So that was the nudge I needed. I had the morning looking at our staff care framework in 24-7, and looking at ways to strengthen it. This next piece of work for the chaplaincy is to put together a report and suggest improvements... It has given me a lot to think on. I read a fascinating paper about staff care in NGOs and amongst workers in high stress and trauma fields.
Team meeting and the theme of the morning spilled over into that time too. Lots talked on and suggested.
Late afternoon we got a message from a friend on the street who's in a pickle and needs some help, so Danny and I will go see him tomorrow. 
Tonight we were on zoom with some of our church in Birmingham - always encouraging hearing what people are up to and praying together.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) aAs help with the latest Waverley assignment.
2) People's enthusiasm to read the Bible together. 
3) Voicenotes with Amanda and Juliette.
