Christmas Gift

Today's the day .................... for a sneak preview

I thought you might like a quick look at one of the handmade Christmas presents that Tessa made yesterday when she was here.

She spent ages making a set of paper boxes -  different sizes and different colours.  Then she arranged them just so and taped them all together to form a sort of paper structure, as shown above.  Apparently they could be hung vertically on a wall or be put horizontally on a flat surface.  In either case, they are for displaying things.  This one was made specially for Will - to display his miniature bottles of malt whiskies etc - and with enough space for a few sweet treats as well.

He did, of course, have to provide the spirits content of the gift - but that did not take away any of his appreciation of receiving such an innovative and imaginative gift from his granddaughter ........................!
