The last day with the family. We started off at the newly-wed's this morning, from where we waved off my son and his family. It was sad to see them go. The ex in-laws departed then as well.
We took my sister and her husband, and my niece and her boyfriend for a walk on the Long Strand, which they enjoyed, and a visit to Drombeg stone circle. It was good to have some time just with them and to have a good chat.
Later we met the rest of the family in Bantry to have dinner together and to say our goodbyes. They are all leaving first thing in the morning.
A tear or two was shed, and all were agreed that it has been a great gathering, a lovely wedding, and a good week altogether.
My niece was teased about catching the bouquet so deftly and that we would all be at her wedding for next family gathering.
