Winter Village

A wintry scene possibly high up in the Alps. As it us December, Santa has put in an appearance on his tractor. It is green so maybe he has borrowed Jeremy Clarkson’s Lamborghin tractor.

I published my first winter village seen this year on the 11th of November. At that time the garden centre had a huge stock of wintry village models. Today I was surprised to see that many of the models on display were marked as being the last one available. Although they bring out the small child in me, they are far too expensive for me to purchase any of them, and it takes several to make a nice display.

I had ventured out to visit the supermarket, having then made a diversion to the gardens centre. By the time I was returning there was quite heavy rain, the temperature was dropping, and looking at the cloud I would not have been surprised if the rain had turned to snow.
