Blackbird

We went to the post office first this morning to post Christmas cards and get stamps. Then onto the plastic sheet supplier to get a bit of acrylic cut for the organ window and some mastic to fix it in place. Next we went to the engineers shop for the metal to make the organ turning handle and varnish to paint the hardwood 
when we got home the handle I sent for had arrived but was too small so I sent it back this afternoon and ordered another one.
I managed to get two coats  of varnish on the mahogany and it looks pretty good, I will put another coat on tomorrow.
The weather has been pretty bad again not too bad first thing but cloudy and damp by late morning drizzle and rain after that
Rarely not much  around to photograph at this time of year bit fed up with it, i could be Blipping garden birds for a while
