tonight i rediscovered my passion in chinese calligraphy. i was forced to learn this art as a chinese language school extracurricular activity on sundays when i was growing up and i hated it! but sooner enough, i grew to perfect and love every stroke that make up a character, a phrase, a sentence, a paragraph, a story.

it was a fun experience to doodle a few characters, phrases and write my name. i didn't have anywhere to put the ink, so i had to use one of my tea cups!

note to self: take this advantage of living in shanghai to learn more chinese so you can write more! ;)
