I can't possibly leave November without posting a turkey from Madera Canyon. Gould's turkeys are the largest species of wild turkey in North America. They were native to Southern Arizona (and Mexico) until 1920 when they disappeared from AZ. Read about their reintroduction.

On the way to preschool, a doctor had left his stethoscope on the car seat, and his little girl picked it up and began playing with it.
