Holiday preparations

We usually see these in France, I haven't seen them here before:
A five- six spot Burnet Moth
Scientific name: Zygaena trifolii

May - August. Southern England, Wales, Isle of Man. Medium-sized with black forewing with five six red spots. Lives on damp grassland, chalk downland, and heaths. Can be confused with the Five-spot Burnet.

Spent the day packing, cleaning, sorting etc. ready for our holiday :-)

First to the southern Alps for some walking, climbing, relaxing then the South-west coast for some beach time. I'm hoping to be able to Blip somehow most days but will just have to see.
If not, have a great few weeks everyone!

Au revoir...
