Madrid, Day 1

Oops just a bit behind again!

We had an early flight which meant we reached our apartment by about 1pm. It was nice to find Madrid a very pleasing temperature having left a cold Blighty. At the same time after our last couple of post holiday visits it was nice to find it in the high 30's/early 40's. 

A wander around to find some craft beer ensued and we ended up revisiting a place we first came to last time we were here. A bar with some great beers but the most uncomfortable stools the world has ever seen. We picked a few things out of their well stocked fridge and headed back to the apartment. These Christmassy shapes were all lit up in a shop nearby.
