The painter has just arrived…

… so I went off to town for a bean jar and iced latte to give him space. By the time I got back home a couple of hours later he’d gone. He was only painting the left hand wall up the stairs and the tiny entrance around the front door so not a big job but it made a big difference. My landlord said he uses a top class professional emulsion which costs an eye watering amount but gives an amazing result. A second coat can be applied more or less immediately which is why he could finish in a such a short time; and I’m happy I don’t have my house invaded tomorrow. Win Win I’d say.
