Change of Plans Part 2

Today's plan was originally to go for a lovely late (due to last night's 3am finish) roast at The Wolf whilst watching the Villa game, but sadly we received a voicemail this morning to say that there was a power cut at the pub and they couldn't do roasts today..! Gutted. After a quick Google, we booked a table at The Botanist to give their roasts a whirl. The roast itself was really nice, though we were quite disappointed by a) the fact that they had no stuffing balls today (which felt like a personal attack on me, to be honest), b) the meal took over 45mins to arrive and c) one round of drinks took so long that we ended up cancelling it so that we could leave... We caught the end of the Villa game at Head of Steam, but we were all so tired by that point that we gave up. Rich and I watched Home Alone when we got back, as it's December 1st so it's officially festive time!

Still feeling like death warmed up, and sounding like it too. Harrumph.
