Today was a bit of a wet day but we headed off to Teignmouth to watch the live local music talent play and support one of my sons school music student friends who was playing there. He's so talented, not only musically but also in acting/musical theatre. He is gigging most weekends and has won a huge competition at the o2 over thousands and is also going to be on our screens soon on a certain 'popular itv singing contest' ;) I seriously think this lad is going to make it one day.
Glad we went to support him as the rain had kept people away.
Whilst we were there we had a quick stroll along the sea front. The tide was in and the town was quiet, a big difference to what it had been 2 days ago when we were there for carnival day in the sun.
Such a Shame the sun wasn't out and we couldn't sit and enjoy more bands. I love watching live music, especially relaxed in the sunshine, you can't beat it :)
