Musical interlude

This evening we went to a performance, concert, evening or whatever you want to call it by the Swindon Pegasus Brass Band.
I took this shot not in the interval, interlude, half-time break (or whatever you want to call it) but just before they started playing. Good job too as there wasn't an interval ......! Which of course meant we didn't waste all that time getting everyone back to their seats afterwards.

They played very well, and with the witty and/or informative comments between pieces by the conductor too we had a very enjoyable evening. An interlude as it were between the activities of a busy Saturday and tomorrow.

So what can I say about a subject like this? Good question, but it did show the need to keep your eye on the conductor. Just as in life its a good idea to keep listening to the author of all life.
