I Spy

a bird bonanza in the Extra.  Another bitter cold day (14F) and of course the birds were hungry.  The feeders were topped off and electric to the heated birdbath yesterday.  Today, they all came to visit.  We were thrilled to see the bluebirds that rarely eat in the backyard.  How they knew meal worm was there is a mystery...

Not photographed:  blue jays, various (too many) sparrows, nuthatch, chicadees, cardinals, mourning doves, downy woodpeckers, wren, and tufted titmouse.

It starting snowing a few flakes before dark.  Getting ready for a predicted big snow dump.  Happy December!
