Roadside flowers

We watched Kalyn's game first thing this morning, an early start at 8am our time. Disappointing result. The team lost to Flacht in three straight sets, 23-25, 23-25, 15-25. Last game before the holiday break is next Saturday, and I know that everyone will want to win that one! 
I went for a walk after the game, chilly but good to get some exercise and fresh air. These flowers were on the ledge of the Harvest Kitchen and Cafe stand beside Fulford Hall. Not sure if they're a tribute to the woman in the photo. The cafe is closed until spring now, I think. There was a Christmas Craft Fair happening in the hall but I wasn't tempted to go in. I might go to one next weekend.

EDIT: Just watched the Bruce Mouat rink win its third straight Grand Slam of Curling!  Well done! He was playing a Canadian rink but we were hoping for Mouat of course!  :-)
