…………………………….Fire Brigade, like policemen they seem to get younger every day!

I didn’t have a great nights sleep but the wee one did sleep until about 8am. I’d forgotten to take his iPad upstairs last night so he wasn’t keen to stay in bed this morning…we were downstairs by 9am and I at least was fully clothed. Luckily I’d unearthed the wooden Nativity advent yesterday so he took great delight in “helping” unbox it and opening the first door…and telling me what else there’d be, including Mary, Joseph, sheep and those things with two lumps on their backs ;-)) MC was given an illustrated bible as a christening present many moons ago which I came across last week. I kept it out so I could read some of the stories to the little one but do you think I could find it again…I’m sure someone has minced my brain!

Free electric all day so I’ve managed three loads of washing and a roast dinner between entertaining and feeding the wee man who was here until tea time…he’s a real pleasure to be with at the minute, school is having a very calming effect on him. My back has played up most of today…think it’s my sciatica to blame so I’ve found some stretches to try to help it.

Mum finally arrived back to the care home this morning, hopefully I’ll get up to see her tomorrow at some point.
