Felbrigg

A pretty miserable and wet day but we managed to miss the worst of it by heading out early.  We went over to Felbrigg to see the trail around the house; a story of two young wolves on a quest to find their matriarch, Red.  Very much aimed at children but fun to see.  The trail goes around the ground floor and takes in the kitchens where I liked the glow and colour of all these copper pans hanging on the wall, illuminated by some fairy lights.

I suddenly realised yesterday that we had forgotten about our Advent Calendar; we have one which has featured on Blip before (and may well do again this week) shaped like a house with doors and windows we fill with chocolates.  An emergency chocolate was put into Door 1 last night and on our trip out this morning we got in further supplies to fill the other doors and windows.  Of course, there are some left over.......
