Local Chamois Herd …

14 of them from a road above our village. I’d just spent a couple of beautiful, but frustrating hours, climbing the Grand Chamossaire to see no animals (extra) so this was a lovely surprise. 

I couldn’t set off early today waiting for the vet to ring me. The Elizabethan collar is working for poor Preston, he can’t lick his wound but the downside is that he seems very depressed and is hardly eating or drinking. 

We had a visitor this afternoon who needed some support and I had to push back phone calls from several friends. I must ring those dear people back now. They will all want to know everything about Preston. Thanks again for your support and understanding. I am really too tired to be a good blip friend at the moment. I need a couple of hours a day to walk and be in nature. I shall be back properly asp. Hope you all had a good weekend.
